SBA loans are made through banks, credit unions and other lenders who partner with the SBA. This report also examines P.L. 111-240, the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010, which removed certain language from the Small Business Act that had prompted federal courts and GAO to find that HUBZone set-asides have precedence” over other small business set-asides.
Through the use of readings, cases, and class discussions, students will examine a variety of important topics impacting the global business environment, including business power, corporate social responsibility, business ethics, regulation, multinational corporations, globalization, pollution and environmental quality.
The Agency also boosts America’s long-term competitiveness by improving the entrepreneurial ecosystem to ensure small business owners and entrepreneurs are well positioned to take advantage of new opportunities and new markets as the economy improves.
Increasing access to export financing, combined with trade counseling and training, will contribute to the enhanced ability of current and future U.S. small business exporters to succeed in the global marketplace and supports the cross-agency goal of doubling U.S. exports.
The purpose of the program is to help small businesses effectively market themselves to prime contractors (large private corporations like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, IBM, Northrup Grumman) and federal agency (Treasury, Department of Commerce, IRS, Military, Veteran’s Administration) procurement departments.
